An elegant hotel - an 18th century villa set in a large garden with huge forest trees. The Bela Vista is rather quaint .... and though it could do with a bit of TLC we loved it for all its quirkiness. We stayed on a half board basis a delicious 4 course meal every night ! Served by the friendliest most charming waiting staff. Sonia and Carina just have to be named. Great breakfasts too. Lovely heated pool ... plenty of sun beds . Pool bar served a good range of lunches. The hotel is not near the seafront but regular buses costing € 1.95 take you there - bus stop about 5 min uphill walk from the gate. There's a shuttle bus but oddly it doesn't run at weekends! So quiet in the evening ... so relaxing. We joined others in the bar over a glass or 2 in the bar in the evenings. Not a hotel for children and tbh most guests were 50+ while we were there. They need better lighting on the cobbled pathways. So glad we chose this hotel!
